Okay, so, here in Canada, we have a local network, well, National anyway… the CBC is about as cool as getting herpes from a one night stand, but then, they did something incredibly cool. They took a wicked kewl dj from MuchMusic, and got him to do something interesting. To host a good show about current events, news and shit. It’s awesome, cause it makes me, a 20 something from western Canada actually care about the world, though I always have, but most importantly, I can now feign an interest in Eastern Canada. This end of the country views that end as stuffy and aristocratic. Really. We get forgotten about, NOT A BOOT, ABOUT, and joked about. So fuck em, we say, normally, but someone, somehow at the lameass CBC, scored with George Stroumboulopoulos Totally hot, but totally Gay. It’s true, they are all gay or married… Oh well. So, anywho, they profile the top five videos of 2005 and wouldn’t you know that this one is number one. It is freakin awesome, and I love it. It says so much about why we really need to cut out the Redbull, and really drink some camomille.
