In case you don’t know what deviantART is, it’s a site where art of all kinds; graphic, lyric, application, etc is shared. It’s a great resource for creativity, and allows artists to share, critic, receive critic and converse with like minded people.

Anywho, here is the poem that I just loved:

Kiss me

Press your lips on mine
Curious, the first time
Tender with the bond we share
Lustful after so long hiding

Pull away
I won’t mind
because this is only
our first time

You don’t know
and neither do I
how this will feel

Unfamiliar
yet normal
is kissing you

we’ll touch gently
It’s only our first time

It doesn’t matter
what they say
they can frown
and stare
Shout abuse
we need not care

We know better
than to be hurt by
what they say

You’re a woman
so am I
You feel this attraction
as do I

Forget the labels
and the pain they bring
Forget the ignorant
stop worrying about what they will say
Forget about everything

Just kiss me
for the first time
